  1. When we are struck by stress or nervousvess, our body releases adrenaline, which helps by increasing blood flow to the important muscles that allow us to get the quick reaction we need to perform up to the task. 2. When we are faced with a perceived threat as an exam or a death threat or body goes back to our primal response: fight or flight; in order to fight this our body pumps adrenaline into our blood stream to allow us a faster response. If we want to fight this we need to use techniques in order to increase our confidence and motivate ourselves to do better.

  3. What increases the nerves is the waiting, the moments before the task. The problem is that you have to present yourself in front of a group, then, you feel threatened by them and you know the task is important, and also not to look as a dumb.
What has to be clear is that all the problem is mental, and with the right methods it could be avoided. First, you have to be confident, you have to trust yourself, and you should have practiced a lot (if that represented a challenge), at the moment you just have to forget everything and be focused on the task all of this increases the chances of being successful.

  4. As pretty much all people in this world, I've been nervous before and during an exam, presentation or interview. In my opinion, the nervousness is worse before the thing that is making us feel that way. The heart rate is really fast before the event; during the event it's also fast, but not as before and after the event, the heart rate goes back to its normal rate. I believe that everything is caused by the stress we feel in the moment. As we all know, the brain is a really powerful tool, but if we get nervous or stressed, it will not work as it should and that's why sometimes things don't go as we wanted to. In order to defeat the nervousness you need to be confident in yourself. Unfortunatelly, confidence is not a simple thing to get.

  5. In different stressful situations we feel nervous, for example when we have to make a presentation or have an exam. But this is not a big problem because is a normal reaction in our body produced by the adrenaline while we are waiting for this specifics moments. The problem begins when we can not deal with the challenge and let ourselves be dominated by this simple fight. We only have to be prepared, and we can do it by "mental imagery" to practice for this stressful moments and get the necessary confidence to get the success in all situations

  6. Nervousness is one of the biggest obstacles we have in our daily life. It is a very shocking sensation that sometimes avoids you to act rationally. I find it very curious to know that nervousness is only a biological reaction of our bodies in order to helps us to survive when we are facing a dangerous or difficult situation. Instead of letting this sensation to freeze us, we have to learn how to use all the adrenaline realeased into our bodies as a force to fight against the problem we are facing. The shocking sensation is more like a lack of confidence and if you go throught it with winning toughts the sensation will start becaming into a courageous sensation that you can use to improve your skills and success in any situation. So, the next time you are getting nervous use this information as a motivation and keep going on.
